Voy A Ti fue nominado a Mejor Álbum Tropical Latino en la 66ª edición de los GRAMMY® y a Mejor Álbum de Salsa en la 24ª edición de los Latin GRAMMY®. Además, recibió tres nominaciones en Premio Lo Nuestro 2024, incluyendo Álbum Tropical del Año. Su éxito "Bandido" lideró el listado Billboard Tropical Airplay durante dos semanas consecutivas, siendo la única canción de salsa en alcanzar el #1 en 2023. "Bandido" también fue número 1 en Puerto Rico durante siete semanas consecutivas y fue nominado a un premio Billboard Latin 2024 como Mejor Canción Tropical.

Coexistencia obtuvo dos nominaciones en la 25ª edición de los Latin GRAMMY®, generando dos éxitos en las listas: "Llorar Bonito" y "Medusa". Luis fue honrado por el Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame en los premios La Musa Awards con el Premio Triunfador 2024 por sus logros sobresalientes y contribuciones al desarrollo de la música latina. En 2025, recibió cuatro nominaciones a Premio Lo Nuestro, siendo el único artista nominado en todas las categorías tropicales.

Luis recibió sus dos primeras nominaciones a Premio Lo Nuestro en 2022, en las categorías de "Artista Tropical del Año" y "Canción Tropical del Año". Su segundo álbum de estudio homónimo, Luis Figueroa, lanzado en mayo de 2022, es una colección de canciones que representan las diferentes etapas del enamoramiento, con una energía tropical llena de percusión y trombones, destacando su potente voz. El álbum generó tres éxitos tropicales número 1: "Todavía Te Espero", "Vienes" y "Fiesta Contigo", todos compuestos por Luis. Recibió dos nominaciones al Latin GRAMMY® y tres a Premio Lo Nuestro, y ha acumulado más de 20 millones de reproducciones a nivel mundial. Billboard lo seleccionó como uno de "Los 22 Mejores Álbumes Latinos de 2022". En otoño, realizó una gira junto a El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico y Marc Anthony, llevando su show en vivo a varias ciudades de Estados Unidos y América Latina. Su sencillo "Vienes" fue certificado Disco de ORO® por la RIAA, un gran logro para una canción de salsa.

Desde temprana edad, Luis demostró su talento natural en programas como Star Search, Sábado Gigante y American Idol. Este primer contacto con el éxito en la industria musical lo llevó a perfeccionar su arte estudiando en el Berklee College of Music. Después de ser descubierto a través de varios videos de covers publicados en su página de YouTube, Luis firmó en 2016 con Magnus Media, la empresa de entretenimiento de Marc Anthony. Su interpretación de "Flor Pálida" le valió un Premio Juventud como "Mejor Video Cover" y lo interpretó junto a su mentor en el show. Combinando sus habilidades musicales y actorales, participó en la serie de Telemundo Guerra De Ídolos (2017) y en la canción principal de la serie, "Tequila Pa’la Razón", la cual interpretó en vivo en los Billboard Latin Music Awards 2017.

En 2018, colaboró con Sebastián Yatra y Larry Over en el éxito urbano-pop "Por Perro", una canción que coescribió y que acumula más de 700 millones de vistas en YouTube hasta la fecha, alcanzando el puesto #16 en el listado Billboard Latin Pop Songs. El sencillo fue certificado 7x Platino por la RIAA® y nominado a Video del Año en los HTV Heat Awards 2019. Luis interpretó el tema durante la gira Golden Tour de Romeo Santos en estadios llenos por toda América Latina.

En febrero de 2021, sorprendió a sus fans con un EP de material original grabado en casa titulado 1807, y en mayo lanzó su álbum debut en Sony Music Latin, Canciones Del Alma, una colección de 10 covers románticos que marcaron su carrera y niñez. El álbum debutó en el puesto #2 de ventas en Puerto Rico y le dio su primer #1 en el listado Billboard Tropical Airplay con "Hasta El Sol de Hoy", además de otro Top 10 con su versión de "Si Tú Me Dices Ven". Se lanzó un álbum visual de todas las canciones, transmitido por Telemundo Puerto Rico.

His hit song, “Bandido” crowned the Billboard Tropical Airplay chart for two consecutive weeks, the only salsa song in 2023 to top the charts. “Bandido” also hit #1 in Puerto Rico for seven consecutive weeks and was nominated for a 2024 Latin Billboard award for Best Tropical Song.

Coexistencia received two nominations for the 25th Latin GRAMMY® Awards and generated two chart hits, “Llorar Bonito” and “Medusa.” Luis was honored by the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame La Musa Awards with their Premio Triunfador 2024 for his outstanding achievements and contributions to the development of Latin Music. The album was selected by Billboard as one of “The 22 Best Latin Albums of 2022.” In the fall he toured with El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico and Marc Anthony bringing his live show to multiple cities across the United States and Latin America. His hit single, “Vienes” was certified GOLD® by the RIAA, a huge feat for a salsa song.

After being discovered through several cover videos uploaded to his YouTube page, Luis signed with Magnus Media, music titan Marc Anthony’s entertainment company in mid 2016. Combining both his musical and acting capabilities he had a featured role in the acclaimed music-themed Telemundo television series Guerra De Ídolos (2017). In 2018, he joined Sebastián Yatra and Larry Over for the urban-pop smash “Por Perro,” a song he co-wrote which has racked up over 700 million views on YouTube to date and reached #16 on Billboard’s Latin Pop Songs chart. The single was certified 7x-Platinum by the RIAA® and nominated for Video of the Year at the 2019 HTV Heat Awards. Luis showcased the single during Romeo Santos’s Golden Tour performing it to sold out stadiums across Latin America.

In February 2021, he surprised fans with an EP of original material recorded at home titled, 1807 and in May on Sony Music Latin he released his debut album, Canciones Del Alma, 10 romantic cover songs that shaped his career and childhood.
